Dr. Maria Chazapis FRCA

Darzi Clinical Leadership fellow, UCL/UCLH surgical Outcomes Research Centre and NIAA Health Services Research Centre

Maria is an ST7 anaesthetics registrar whose main research interest is using 'Quality of Recovery' scores as a patient-reported outcome measure following surgery and anaesthesia. Her other interests are regional anaesthesia; she is studying part time for an MSc in Regional Anaesthesia and she has been elected the RA-UK trainee representative.

She is currently undergoing a Darzi fellowship in clinical leadership, working with the NIAA Health Services Research Centre to design and implement a national perioperative outcome quality improvement framework.
