Our current core projects include:
- External validation of the Surgical Outcome Risk Tool (SORT - www.sortsurgery.com) and development of a morbidity prediction model
- Funded by the Health Foundation, the development and evaluation of a novel perioperative medicine pathway for high-risk surgical patients (POM-SHIP - http://www.health.org.uk/programmes/innovating-improvement/projects/peri-operative-medicine-service-high-risk-surgery )

Established in April 2000 with a grant from the Special Trustees of UCLH NHS Trust we are now funded by a capacity grant from the UCLH NIHR Comprehensive Biomedical Research Centre
